Course Description:
This class will examine the short history of Rock and Roll from it's roots in jazz and folk music to the progression leading to Elvis, the Beatles, all the way to more modern artists such as the Foo Fighters. Students will be expected to listen and recognize rock artists by sound and song by the end of the semester and will even give a brief presentation of their favorite rock artist(s) of all time to the class. This is a non performing class.
