Statewide Programs
The following school districts have been approved to provide virtual education programming to students statewide. Students can participate in statewide virtual education programs by enrolling in the district where the program is located, or through an agreement between their resident district and the program district when the two districts allow for those arrangements. Students in statewide virtual education programs are enrolled in brick and mortar schools within the district providing the program or their neighborhood school when there is an agreement between the resident and program districts.
Wyoming Connections Academy is a K-12 online program of Big Horn County School District #1 that provides students with access to online courses taught by Wyoming certified teachers and allows students the opportunity to complete their education in an environment that is best suited to their learning needs.

Spur Virtual Academy, a program of Fremont County School District #25, offers their program statewide to students in grades K-8 giving them the option of completing their coursework in a virtual learning environment.

The Virtual Preparatory Academy of Wyoming (VPA of Wyoming), a program of Lincoln County School District #1, is a fully online program with individualized, college and career-focused education in an interactive learning environment. This statewide program features an innovative and interactive curriculum, fully aligned to the Wyoming Content Standards and taught by talented Wyoming state-certified teachers. VPA of Wyoming is dedicated to academic excellence that empowers and prepares students for a world of opportunity.

Wyoming Virtual Academy, a program of Niobrara County School District #1, brings learning alive for students with a personalized program of engaging courses, caring teachers, and a vibrant school community.

The Cowboy State Virtual Academy at Sheridan County School District #1 offers an online distance learning program for students studying at home. CSVA uses the personalized learning curriculum from SchoolsPLP. Students may enroll full-time or part-time in grades K-12 and complete their studies online, at their own pace, with support from Wyoming certified teaching staff.

The Sweetwater#1 Virtual School is a virtual education program that is available to K-6 students statewide and to K-12 students within the district. The virtual education classes are district-developed and taught by district teachers.

The Tech Trep Academy – Wyoming virtual education program provides full-time personalized core and elective courses to students in grades K-8 located anywhere in the state. The Weston County School District #7 virtual education program also includes Spanish courses statewide for grades 9-12 through agreements with resident districts.

Regional Programs
The following school districts are approved Virtual 307 members who provide virtual education programming to students within a local region surrounding the district. Students can participate in the two regional virtual education programs available in the 2023-24 school year by enrolling in the district where the program is located. Students in regional virtual education programs are enrolled in brick and mortar schools within the district providing the program.
Spur Virtual Academy, a program of Fremont County School District #25, allows students within the district in grades K-12 and any students located in Fremont County in grades 9-12 the option of completing their coursework in a virtual learning environment.

Park #1 Virtual Academy is partnering with Acellus for virtual programming delivery. Acellus is an
interactive learning accelerator. It combines technology and learning science to help students master content, learning more effectively (greater mastery), and efficiently (in less time). Park #1 Virtual Academy is being offered to students interested in being full-time virtual students in grades K-12. This program is available to students who reside in Park, Big Horn, Hot Springs, and Washakie counties.

Virtual programming for credit recovery or for students who don’t have access to the class offerings in person using Edgenuity online courses taught by district teachers.

JCSD1 Virtual is designed to meet the needs of students for credit recovery purposes and part-time virtual courses as well as . JCSD1 utilizes Edgenuity curriculum and teachers to deliver and instruct the courses. Students who wish to attend school virtually full-time in grades K-12 may do so through an agreement Between Johnson 1 and a district offering a full-time virtual education program for those grade levels.

Star Valley Virtual School provides a progressive and flexible option for Lincoln County School District #2 students through courses developed and taught by LCSD#2 teachers and delivered through the Canvas learning management system and BYU Online High School. Online courses provided by LCSD#2 allow students to customize educational goals on their path to graduation.

Natrona Virtual Learning offers a learning experience especially tailored to each student’s needs.
Natrona students in grades 7-12 use the researched-based Pearson curriculum. The core of the online learning program is a robust course library of standards-aligned, dynamic and sound curriculum. The curriculum is designed to empower students to build proficiency, achieve content mastery, and engage in rich and challenging real world applications. The virtual education courses are taught by district teachers.

The Sheridan County School District No. 2 (SCSD2) virtual education program is blended learning courses that provide students enrolled at Sheridan High School the opportunity to earn course credit in a flexible schedule format that blends individual and group work outside of the traditional classroom with weekly scheduled time in-class. The purpose of the UCSD #4 VEP is to allow our most at-risk students as well as our highest level
learners the opportunity to recover and earn credit in the most flexible way and stay on a path for graduation. The virtual education program will use BYU Independent Study online courses taught by the curriculum vendor’s teachers.

Washakie No. 1 Online is an accredited, personalized learning program offered both full-time and part-time to students in the district. Students can participated in a wide variety of course offerings from credit recovery to Advanced Placement (AP). At the high school level, courses are offered through a blended learning platform at Worland High School where students receive support from a bilingual teacher and highly qualified paraeducator. This blended learning option assures greater success for students. Applications for enrollment include a personal interview with students and their parents/guardians.
